I can't count how many times I see people with those clear turn signals with white bulbs in them. Anyone know if this is legal or not?

the housing can be clear as long as the light is amber/white in front and amber/red in the rear

Not legal and annoying. They can be clear as long as they flash amber/yellow.
I'm guessing that's not completely correct. My 92 Camry has clear turn signals in the front (bone stock). I highly doubt a company as big as Toyota would make such a huge mistake. I've never had a cop say anything to me about it and I've had a few conversations with them in that car.Originally posted by: JC
Front turn sigs have had to be amber since 1963. Rear turns can be amber or red.
I'll be glad when this whole clear lens fad is over, it bugs the hell out of me.

So if the front turn signal is clear then it must have a amber light not white correct?
