Clear Sky Review

I quite liked the first one and have been waiting for this. Now that I got a 4870, I can play at 1680x1050 with dynamic lighting on, and if DX10 ends up being a big deal for this game, I think I'll have to put Vista back on.

My biggest worry however, and this review sort of confirmed it:

"By any measure, Clear Sky doesn't fix all of its forbears problems. Production values haven't shot through the roof for instance - it still is a... peppered with almost endearing glitches"

But I will most definitely be buying it still. I just hope they sort of cleaned up and improved things.

Playing with a 8800gts 640mb might prove to be difficult, especially at 1680*1050 or higher. At 1280*1024 it might hold up pretty well, but with full dynamic lighting, dx10, it will be in for a rough time ...

I have STALKER and I have really tried to get into it but it's just not hooking me up, a shame really because many people say STALKER is a great game, anyways, maybe Clear Sky will be a bit more accessible.
