Clear history in I.E.

I select clear history. Then I go to the address field and start typing. I.E. auto-completes the website address even though it's no longer in the history. Anyone know why?

Go to tools, options, content, and then try and clear out your auto forms etc. Also in the advance properties there is a check box for inline auto complete. See if unchecking that box will help.

I think you may have to close IE also (all IE windows) otherwise when you type something into the text box it will pre-populate the other sites that you've already visited. Try closing all IE windows then trying to type in an address again.
