pro: looks neat if you arent completely retarded and can hide wires. Otherwise it doesnt matter at all. I like it because i can peek inside and (im anal) make sure everything is ok lol.

show me a clean looking clar case and i'll show u a much cleaner looking non clear case

Pros: looks kewl, and you can see the inside workings, and as Heene05 mentioned, you can make sure things are running smoothly.

Cons: hiding wire is hard but possible. But biggest problem of all, you end up being obsessed with the dust collecting inside (my problem 🙁 )

I'm in the same boat. My brother wants a clear case that looks cool and doesn't cost $$$. We can't find one that meets both needs.

When I first saw them they carried a disclaimer stating that they didn't protect from radiation generated by your rig. For anyone interested, the current issue of CPU has a picture of the best looking clear case I've seen so far, and it's water-cooled too. :thumbsup:

Try to get one with 120mm fans, you'll have less noise than 80's and great airflow.......

I don't know why anyone in their right mind would use a clear case, you're just asking for trouble. It will never look good. I've never seen a good looking clear case and the dusting will just be problematic.

Cons: everyone can see the porn on your computer
if you don't have an uber l337 system anyone who comes over will instantly know just from looking that you're not running watercooling, SATA raid and an Fx-55 nitro cooled with 2 DVD writers and dual SLI. Plus neon looks crappy cause you can see where all the wires run as well as any crappy cabling and such.
