Need to free up space on my boot drive. Can I delete the following? and is there any drawbacks to deleting them?

c:\windows\ServicePackFiles 274mb

c:\windows\$NtUninstall*

Thanks in advance!

Generally messing with files in the Windows directory is a bad idea. ServicePackFiles is the files you archived when you installed your latest SP. If you don't plan on rolling back to the last SP you can delete them. Same goes for the $NTUninstall* folders. They are the backup files so that you can uninstall an update that was applied to your machie.

The MSOCache directory are the source files for Office 2k3. They are put there for convinence purposes so you don't need the Office CD when you apply a patch. If you have the CDs you can probably delete them too.
