cleanup or format?

If there was a windows cleanup software that is worth the money I'd love to know what it is. Popular opinion is that it's not worth it and you should just re-format. Well even if you use Ghost or TrueImage you still only get to restore Windows, and then you have other drives full of stuff that just had their ties to the OS severed. Is there a way around that pitfall besides imaging EVERY drive, which I doubt I have HDD space for?

Just reformat. At least the only things you have to replace are the programs...

Keep stuff to CDs, makes it so much easier after a format.

Can you ghost it with fresh OS install and a couple fav apps that you always install?
