Cleaning windshield?

I want to clean the windshield of my car... it's not exactly dirty, but it has some smudge marks and streaks on it. What should I use to clean it?

Bon Ami works great to remove wax build and bugs. If you just want to clean it use newspaper and glass cleaner.

are people really this stupid?

No, it's just you. Windex leaves streaks that are EXTREMELY annoying in bright sunlight situations. I've heard that Vinegar + newspaper works well, and also they make specific auto glass cleaners

You don't even need vinegar..
just use Crumpled newspaper

it'll leave it nice and clean

Pretty much any normal solvent + newspapers will work well. If you want to do it right, get a cheap car window cleaning solution from walmart + newspapers for a STREAK free shine.
