I am infected with the W32.Nimda.enc and W32.nimda.a@mm (dr).

There may be some other Variants.

I have scanned using NAV 2002, F-Nimda, The McAfee and NAV custom scanning tools but the damn thing seems to come back.

Does anyone have any tips or programs that can actually kill it?

Have you considered patching your system??? It wouldn't come back if you were properly patched.

I've tried those Norton tools but the damn thing keeps coming back. However I was at a LAN so perhaps we kept on infecting each other back again (there were upwards of 50 people).

Psychoholic. I was a little worried about patching my system while infected, but I'll patch the the rig now.

Thanks guys. I've been running all the tools I've downloaded and there is no sign of it so I guess it is removed.

Anythime you are infected with anything of this sort the first step to solving the problem should be removing that computer from any network connections, WAN or LAN.
