Cleaning the laptop chassis

I have many very annoying smudges on my laptop chasses (dunno what else to call it), i can't seem to remove it with ordinary cloth + water, how do you clean it? thanks

You can use an acetone based cleaner but you have to be careful as it will eat plastic. That or goo-gone stuff.

Watered down rubbing alcohol works good too

wont the rubbing alcohol corrode or damage the paint of the chassis?

use a little liquid soap

I use "Spray & Wipe" on a cloth.
