Cleaning question

outside you could try to heat it with a burner of some sort, even though that might make it look even worse.
 
take a paper towel and put ti on the wax....then take a hair dryer or iron and heat the wax so it melts...and the paper towel will absorb it! Viola!
 
Lay newspaper or brown paper bags over it.
Then SLOWLY heat the wax with an iron.
Keep changing the paper till it's gone
This works on carpet as well

Just make sure not to apply a direct flame. Wax melts at a relatively low heat, so the air around a flame may be hot enough to liquify it and blot it up.
