Cleaning out my coffee pot.

Dang... I need to check my coffee maker's water tank. Mine has a grill over it, so I am not sure how I would fish the ah heck out. Never tried to disassemble it.

Oh shit. I'm off to check my coffee pot. Now I'm going to have to check it every time the lid is open for a few moments out of my sight. Dammit why did you have to put this in my head?

I still can't figure out how it got in there. The biggest opening is about 1mm. The cockroach was a good 3 inches long, not including antennae.

They can squeeze into really tight spots.

Evil creatures.

and if you got 1 you have a million.

nasty nasty things. i rented a apartment with a guy and the place had them. if you walked around at night you would hear a crunch every now and then.

when i moved i threw eveyrthing away and got new clothes (not that i had much) furniture etc. eww.

I've seen maybe 5 of them in the 2 years I've lived here. I dunno where they come from.

I found 4732827345223942825602234552 little sugar ants in my coffeepots water tank one morning. They were carrying wet gooey larva and everything. It went out and a cheap replacement went in its place.

I've run boiling water through it 4 times now. This is after doing a good rinsing by hand. I figure any part touched during the brew process is cleaned out by now. BLECH.

Roaches in and of themselves aren't dirty. They aren't gooey like ant larvae, they don't eat their own shit like pigs and dogs, the only thing to worry about is roach poo.

Drinking a pot of coffee now. I figure if I can get through this pot, then it won't be a big deal in the future.

I can handle spiders, I don't like cockroaches though.
