Cleaning out an XBOX 360 controller

My friends brother spilled pop on a brand new XBOX 360 wireless controller. However, only one of the keys is sticking really bad (the A button). If I open the controller, will it be a pain in the ass to put back together? Has anyone here had to even do this yet? 😕 Or maybe is there a way I can clean it without having to rip it apart?

Any help appreciated.

Yeah, you most likely have to take it apart. I dont know about the 360 controller, but its usually not too much work. It is a PITA to get back together, you have to make sure everything is aligned properly.

I don't know about the 360, but I know my regular controller was no problem to open, clean, and close back up (even modded an extra button into one)..

Why don't you get your friend's brother to reimburse you for the damage?

Or tell him it's the retard tax and you've come to collect it.
