How do you clean your NES games? I've been reading online and I've seen 50/50 water and alchohol mix, Windex, and I've even see one that said to use Oven Cleaner. You know that stuff that comes in a white bottle with a black label. This one seems the most interesting to me. But also the most potentialy hazardous solution. Anyone try this or know of the best way to clean the contacts.....and I don't mean blowing in the cartridge.

When I was a kid, I used Q-tips dipped in rubbing alcohol (as directed by my mom). Never had any problems.

I still have some old cleaner kit. Basically you put alcohol and the kit comes with a fake cartridge with a handle, and you put it into the slot and push in and out. As for the carts themselves the kit came with a fake slot that you sprayed the cleaner onto and then inserted the cart several times. Worked like a charm last time I used it. But for carts q-tip and alcohol works great. Big issue was the NES consoles slot.
