My 20 month old son loves to put his little fingers all over my monitor, as a matter of fact he is doing it right now. I am not sure if my monitor has any kind of coating or not. What is the best to clean off the finger prints. I have a KDS 17 inch Xtreme flat monitor. The prints get a bit annoying while playing games. Watter works okay but not as well as I would like.

Thanks

i get fluffy or padded toilet tissue and my hot breath to get rid of oily marks on my monitor, then i get a regular cloth (usually my t-shirt ;)) and gently wipe all the little tissue fibres off.

you might need several breaths to get decent moisture on the surface :D

With nicer monitors you probably want to stay away from straight windex

Compusa and even Target and what not sell monitor wipes...you should probably check those kinda things out.

In fact, I think my monitor manual specifically says not to use Windex-type products (lost my manuals during a move...)

Endust anti-static wipes has "Safely Cleans CRT Screens,....." written on the label, that's what I use (for my tv, too).
