Hey guys. I have a Santa Rosa based MBP so it's not an island style keyboard. What would be the best way to clean this? Thanks!

I am not familiar with the terminology you are using to refer to the keyboards. Can you post pictures of your keyboard style as well as the "island style keyboard"?
Are you talking about cleaning the tops of the keys, between/behind the keys or both?

That's pretty stupid idea.Windex on a bounty.
hes washing the plastic, not the electronics idiot. Or maybe a 1200 audio cable will magically clean it for him? That's pretty stupid idea.
Windex is not a good source of cleaning tool for electronics. Get something that is anti-static spray like Dust Guardian or something.

The quote below is much better answer. Read below.hes washing the plastic, not the electronics idiot. Or maybe a 1200 audio cable will magically clean it for him?
You on the other hand recommended "Windex" cleaner which is stupid. Not only is it bad for the electronics but also not exactly a good source for cleaning plastics either. The only thing you have done was resorting to insults. Great.OP, I am a big fan of Mr Clean Magic Erasers, they work great to remove grime and everything else. You can also just use plain water and a microfiber cloth, that should work too. Canned Air to get between the spaces (or if you are adventurous/dedicated/OCD, remove the keys altogether).
He means that his is a pre-uniboy MacBook Pro, it doesn't use chiclet keys (sometimes referred to as island style due to the clearly defined space between each key).
