Cleaning cookies and temp internet files in W2K

How do you delete cookies and temporary internet files in W2K? (Yes, I don't much about computers... yet). By the way, is there a smart and free registry cleaner available for this OS? Many thanks.

Go to Control Panel, then the Internet Options Applet. In the middle of the 1st page, there is the Temporary Internet Files section. Hit Delete files...
