Cleaning bug guts off car w/ Dryer Sheets?

I heard over at Mazda3Forums that if you hose down the front of your car, run over the bugs with dryer sheets, then hose it down again, it works better than anything...

Anyone try this?

Nice hack. Makes alot of sense: synthetic mesh won't scratch paint, can apply pressure locally, and makes good use of re-use of recyling.
