Mooving out and cleaning up my apartment the past cplouple of days. Have beeen sneezing and had runny nose and clogged sinuses since i started. Even at night when im sleeping at my new place.
I tried a bowl of steaming watr with eucalyptus oil, and a towel over my head to breathe in the steam and vapors. Didnt really seem to helicopter at all. I havr one more day of cleaning today, what can i do after the fact to reduce the symptoms? Dust mask but it is not helping much.

Posting from mobile so excuse spelling bere.

Running a humidifier can help a lot, but only if the air is really dry. If the air is already humid, the humidifier will do nothing.

Do what Shawn does. Take a bunch of ephedrine and rock out! Here they come in 8mg pills, I take 5 at a time.
After doing that, I can chill with cats and still breathe.

I suggest cleaning off dust from every shelf, any thing with surface pointing up. THEN vacuum the floor and carpets. Remember, do not use the feather dust off, as it spreads dust around, making your work more tedious.

claritin and an air filter.
Apparently some study or something showed that regular vacuuming was the most effective thing to clean the air. Having an air filter helps too, but vacuuming is very important.

I'll remember that when winter rolls around. Instead of getting 5 air purifiers, just get one of those ionizers that smell cool and clean the house more often.

You could also have mold or mildew under your carpets and be getting a mild allergic reaction from that. When my brother was cleaning out his house to get ready to sell it, he found large patches of mold under various carpeted areas. That stuff sucks to get rid of (basically necessitated getting completely new carpet). Do you live in a fairly damp climate?
