Cleaning an LCD monitor?

I have these wet and dry cleaning wipes that are used for the CRT...

Can i use them to clean an LCD monitor?


If no, then what is the best way and safest way to clean an LCD?

don't use hair spray, that'll just make it sticky. You gotta use lysol or something like that

NO, No, just kidding. Just a mild cleaner and very soft cloth. I just dampen a cloth with water myself. What does you owners manual suggest (OH, Horrors, Read?)

Just a soft damp cloth IMO.

A little bit of soap on the wet towel should be even better.

My method:

1. Extend index finger.
2. Open mouth and stick out tounge.
3. Make the two contact.
4. Gently place finger on screen.
5. Wipe vigorously.

Yes, on my LCD and CTR I do this. 🙂

If you want to get fancy:

6. Place finger back in mouth.
7. Repeat.
