Cleaning A TFT Screen

Pure cotton cloth dampened with water.

Don't use any cleaner liquids other than water

turn it off before you clean it!
you can use non-ammonia cleaners (void your warranty if you do), those compounds explicity designed for cleaning electronics are usually propyl-alchol based.

Rubbing alcohol will eventually turn some screens yellow. Some, not all. And later, not sooner.

Best thing to use is plain water and a soft, lint-free cloth. Make the cloth slightly damp, then gently wipe the screen. Of course make sure the laptop is turned off before you do it.
