Cleaning a microfibre couch

I recently purchased a micro fiber couch (used). It has a few stains on it. How do I clean it?

the covers come off. Can I throw those in the washer? Never dealt with micro fiber before. google fails me

do you guys like these better than leather or crappy cloth? I am considering getting one. they are so soft 🙂

I like them better than leather. Leather makes my ass sweat when I sit on it for awhile. Crappy cloth is itchy.

I thought microfibre was supposed to be good for cleaning things? So maybe the couch cleans itself eventually.
