Cleaning a Briteview LCD

Aves

Lifer
I have a Compaq V2000 with the Briteview LCD and it's starting to get a little dirty, I was wondering what you guys use to keep yours clean.

I've been using these for my CRT but I'm not sure if they'd be safe on this LCD.

Anyone had any experience with this?

Any kind of LCD safe wipes should work fine.
Only catch w/Brightview's is that you'll want a soft, lint-free cloth to dry it with afterwards. Those screens can be bitches to get the streaks off of

why do u guys touch ur screen?

good question, seems pretty useless to touch the screen, the most i ever get on mine is a thin layer of dust which my micro-fiber cloth takes care of with ease.

I did however expirence finger prints one time, a firend of mine came over after I first got my laptop and was looking at it, I was on some website, and he was like, "hey, look at that!" and of course puts a big ole fingerprint right in the middle of the screen since he felt it necessary to not only shout that he saw something, but also point to it. oh well, i gave him a mean look, and we're still friends.

I didn't see anyone say they did. But they do get dust on them, or perhaps a little spittle from sneezing or talking crap in online games. I am extremely picky about my screens and slap any hands that get near it, but; I have gotten stuff on it before and therefore, it needed to be cleaned.
