Clean Win 10 install slow download fast upload

So my desktop computer needed a clean out so I did windows reset tool (deleted everything) and reinstalled fresh drivers.

PRE RESET: my Asus WiFi adapter was getting solid speeds (200 down, 50 up speedtest.net)

AFTER RESET: download speed is .3 and upload is 50 still

I’ve updated the drivers for the WiFi adapter and all the drivers for the computer

My phones, laptop, etc on WiFi working correctly

What could it be? Thanks!

What Wifi adapter are we talking about? I know I recently had an issue where a Windows 10 update made both of the TP Link adapters on my kid's PC super slow, and they hadn't released a new driver for quite a while (I believe support has been dropped for this particular model). I ended up putting in an Intel chipset adapter in, and it works perfectly now.

It’s a somewhat old Asus ac56 WiFi adapter

What’s annoying is that it was working fine before all the updates

Don’t know what to do

Can you undo the update to verify that's what caused it, see if things go back to normal? Then squelch whatever particular update caused it?
