clean up software?

is there any freeware out there that can help clean up my hard drive...delete old programs, files etc...

Add/Remove Programs is free, comes with Windows. Right clcik->Delete is also free. Windows Me (AFAIK) and XP have built in utilities for this as well. Free with the purchase of the OS. I think 3rd party "clean up" utilities have fallen out of favor. Mostly because they tend not to work very well. If things are so bad, format c:\ is also free...
