Clean Laptop Screen?

I recommend some 120grit sandpaper.*

* 100% cotton cloth dampened w/ a hint of water is all you need to use.

You're suppose to not use any type of solvent, except water and cloth or paper.
Before I knew that, I use to use alcohol. I now use water and see no difference. Both clean as well.

Anything that is okay for CRT's will work fine. If you only need to clean your LCD a few times a year, then a paper towel and the cleaner will work great. Cloth tends to leave streaks. If the LCD is clean but dusty, then just use some compressed air or a soft bristled brush to remove the dust.
