All right... I copied my Win98se drive on to a back up SCSI drive, so its safe.
Next, I booted from the Win2k professional CD-ROM, and chose to NTFS format my IBM C: (intending that 2000 would become my primary OS).
NTFS Format is successful. Set-up runs and installs the OS, about 350mb worth of files. It then wants to reboot, I let it reboot. It POSTS correctly but when it tries to read the OS from the drive it hangs giving me the code: Stage1 (or even Stage1 drive failure)
I've done a format twice, and installed the OS, up to this point four times, and just can't seem to chose any options that don't lead me anywhere but back to this error.
Ideas???
