clean install if go to sli?

Hi,
I have one 7800gt card now, was thinking about getting another one to try sli. Do I need to reinstall windows again? Hopefully not. Or am I better to go with x1900xtx? Can't afford 8800 yet. and oh, would ocz 520w hold up with sli? thanks for all the help

No, just drop the second card in. The first time you boot the machine after you install the card the driver will pop up a notice saying that you've got two cards installed and will ask if you want to enable SLI. That's about it.

The OCZ 520W should be enough for dual 7800GTs.

edit: hmmm... how much are you going to have to pay for the second GT? I see that they are going for $240+ on Newegg. If that's the case, then getting an EVGA 8800GTS 320MB for $280 ($260 AMIR) would be a much better plan.

should not be necessary unless you are changing motherboards to get SLI capability.
