Quote I read earlier:

Reinstall or delete the Enum key out of the Registry and restart, and windows will re-detect all hardware from scratch. Of course don't forget to backup the reg...

Can I get the exact location of this key? I want to make sure I don't delete the wrong one. I don't feel like formatting so I figured this will do til a few weeks down the road 🙂

I have win xp

does someone even know what I'm talking about?

In win98 it's just under local - enum.

This key is not there in winxp so I need some help to find it. Thanks

I have come to the conclusion that they should simply add a button in the system menu to erase all drivers and reinstall 🙂 They probably never will, but I can dream. I doubt that this enum is the same as in win98 so I guess I just won't worry about it. Thanks anyway.
