Dude, the Clawhammers got really really far. The first FX55 was a Clawhammer. Try and see, and then see what Newcastles are getting.

No, they just can't be bought anymore, but there's no rarity in them. It'll be worth less than what you paid for it, I assure you.

If the CPU you are referring to is the one in your sig with 512K cache then it is most likely a poor overclocking. The clawhammers originally came with 1 MB of cache and chips that failed had half of their cache disabled. Your best bet is the newcastle.
