Hi, I'm new. I built this machine back in early march. I want to overclock to 2.4Ghz from my Clawhammer 3000+. It seem that many people are having luck with ocing on nforce3-250. Would it be better to sell my CPU and motherboard on ebay and upgrade to Newcastle/nforce3-250? Or just upgrade motherboard and call it quits?

I wanted an overclocking A64 at first. That's why I got all the water cooling, but chipsets and stepping weren't in place for ocing in march.

thanks

I would just buy the Mobo. I would buy the Chaintech VNF3-250 at mwave for $77 shipped and with your colling you should hit 2.3-2.4 with enough voltage. I had a clawhammer 3200 and I was running it at 2.4 :)
