Classless RPGs

Got a hankerin' for some classless RPG action and trying to find something recent to play. The notion being, games like Dungeon Seige 2 or TES games where you don't have a true defined class, just skill-based leveling/character advancement. Don't particularly care if it's ARPG, hardcore RPG, first person, fantasy/sci-fi etc, though this did start as an ARPG itch from playing a bit of DS2. I'm also fine with *very* loosely defined classes, like Path of Exile or System Shock, really I just want that total character advancement customization, not templated schlock like Diablo 3. Preference toward non-roguelikes (though I love them/have tons... looking for more permanent character development right now).

Games I'm aware of/have cleared/not interested in.
Dungeon Siege 1/2
TES (all)
Dark Souls (all)
System Shock (ish, technically classes)
Path of Exile (ish)
Grim Dawn (ish)

Prolly others I can't quite remember.

Suggestions welcome!

Those are more "action'ey" but if you want something a little slower and more tactical, Wasteland 2 doesn't have any classes. Just put your points into the skills you want to develop.

I do have Wasteland 2, I should delve into that.

I do have a preferential leaning toward solo/single person parties but I've gotten plenty of enjoyment from party-based systems so I won't exclude them.

Divinity:OS1/2 should be on the list too I guess, I have 1, 2's wishlisted on Steam. I really detested the over the top humor in 1 though.

Shadowrun.

Do NOT get Shadowrun Boston.
Got it, beat it. Missed it from the list.

EDIT: another one missed I guess is FO1/2/3/NV, cleared those as well. FO4 is wishlisted kinda, but the reviews are still kinda garbage and I've heard less than great things about how good it actually is.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is classless/skill based progression right? Maybe I'll snag that one on a sale and just mod out the silly save system.

I just really, really wish there was a modern iteration of Dungeon Siege 2.

well, Grimrock is kinda like that. You have to pick a specialization at the beginning but you can radically change the characters as you level up.
And also Grimrock is good. Good enough to play with classes.

Yeah, knocked that one out too. Didn't do the second one though, so that's an option.

Eyeballing Stellar Tactics, still EA though (unfortunately), so going to wait on that one to be complete first.

G2 is better than G1. AND, you can run community-created modules on it.

I was on the fence about whether to suggest this one.
I really wanted to enjoy it, I enjoyed the other divinity games but jesus, by the time I ran into the imp (I forget his name) I was losing my crap wrt the overwhelming bad jokes.

Another game that might be worth looking at is Divinity II: Developer's Cut also made by Larian Studios, it does not have nearly as much of the corny humor in it, although it does have some (mostly just when you meet up with a certain wizard character).
