gimme some "omg i'm crying" classical music to buy plz kthx.

just bought star wars - shadows of the empire and it's soooo nice listening to it, so freakin emotional 😛

i know this probably doesn't count, but u know what really sorta gets me? the theme from the tv show "the incredible hulk". as a matter of fact, i think i will listen to it right now 😛

Classic != Instrumental

!=not

That said, I love instrumental movie soundtracks, it's the style I write MY music in. Someday I'll find a project to write FOR.

If you wanna' feel slightly sad and moody... Forrest Gump has some winners, along with Castaway. Both the same composer if I'm correct- Alan Sylvestri. A genius. 😉 Back to the Future guy.

Just like modern music it heavily depends on what you like. Some people will become emotional from Bach, but I merely get annoyed by most of his music. Grieg will lift my spirits though, and so will Rachmaninoff or Tschaikovsky.

If you want "omg i'm crying", get Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings. It's one of the most powerful pieces of music ever written, in my opinion.

Ravel Piano Concerto in G, 2nd movement
Definitely, fantastic piece of music...
3rd movement is really good too.

Can't beat good ol' rach 3 for range of emotion but some of the mahler symphonies (5 most so) come close.

I love playing bach but I hate listening to it - really wierd that.
