Hey, it's great to see someone mention Blackfoot, a band I always liked. There was an AT member who was a cousin(?) of the Medlockes, but I can't remember who it is now.

Also, you need something from the Allman Brothers, Blue Oyster Cult, .38 Special, Jethro Tull, Humble Pie, Talking Heads, Frank Zappa, J. Geils, Little Feat, Alan Parsons, The Who, and The Pretenders.

I couldn't stand Bob Seger, Styx, Rush, or the Doobie Brothers, but they sure sold a lot of records.

I am too damn tired to type up the whole list at the moment, maybe later after I have my morning cup'o'Joe.

Wicked list. The bass player of the kinks lives in my little hick town (1500 ppl).

I like Tomcattin personally.

In 1980 or 1981 I saw Blackfoot the first time. Great show in the middle of a great lineup.

The Baby's, UFO, The Outlaws, Blackfoot and AC/DC.

Don't forget the Robin Trower tune "Day of the Eagle" for your collection.:D

Lots of good suggestions, so far, but don't forget Steely Dan (your choice of many classic albums). :)

Byrds
Eve of destruction
Stop children what's that sound
Tsk, Tsk, Tsk. That second song is "For What It's Worth" and it's by Buffalo Springfield, not the Byrds. :p
