I have that "watch now" option on netflix where you can stream movies and tried what's supposed to be one of the best Dr. Who episodes ever, The City of Death from 1966, written by Douglas Adams. This was definitly better than any of the modern Dr. Who stuff, of course its was written by Douglas Adams so of course it's great :p Worth a watch especially if you have netflix, the video quality was good and never a stutter.

Even though I like sci-fi, I have never been able to get interested in the Dr. Who series.

I used to love watching the old Dr Who shows (from the BBC, always broadcasted on PBS); this was in the last 70's, IIRC.

omg.. hrs and hrs wasted in Wiki click thrus about the Doctor, his companioions, K-9, companiions that have been killed, etc

Me, too. I was looking for DVDs of the old episodes - woweeeee are they expensive. :(
