Sorry, thread got locked in Off-topic, putting it in it's proper place:

This looks very interesting, I think I would enjoy the remade version over the current release. What do you think?

Things in so far
» general gameplay
- stamina removed (per map only - uses hell stamina on E1M1)
- running, walking, crouched speed increased
- jump height increased
» items
- changed max armour to 200
- changed armour vest to give player 100
» menu
- changed the back picture of the gui and set startmap to e1m1
» monsters
- imp fireballs not affected by gravity
- removed imp leap attack
» weapons
- no reload on any classic weapons
- classic weapons only available on maps
- shotgun spread decreased, rate of fire increased
- pistol damage increased

Stuff to do for the next release
» monsters
- reduce hitpoints & dodging of imp & zsec guys
» weapons
- remove bfg power up mode
- make pistol/chaingun use the same ammo
- make bfg/plasma gun use the same ammo

Stuff to some time in the future
» general gameplay
- infinite stamina (dependant on SDK release)
» items
- add blue mega armour (can reskin the existing armour. not sure how though
- add health vials (needs a model)
» menu
- add always run option in menu
- remove Doom 3 specific weapons from menu
- redo the whole menu?
» monsters
- remodel monsters
» weapons
- remodel weapons

You knew it had to happen. Id games always get modded. What do you think the first mods to hit are going to be Doom1 / Doom2 remakes. Personally, they sound awesome, I just hope my system can handle the number of monsters needed to render at any one given time. I have this feeling that it will choke...

I also expect an Aliens Doom TC that will be created and shortly after foxed. (But you will still be able to find it and it will be great fun).

It looks good but like skace said I don't know how majority of the systems are going to handle large amount of monsters. Doom3 as you know only had few monsters at a time.

Edit: Nevermind, it says he will remodel monsters.
