Its the original Doom re-made using the Doom III engine.

Youve got to have Doom III installed, then you just install this and it shows up under mods.

I played some earlier builds of this, but they were nothing compared to how it looks and plays now.

Its VERY GOOD!

Not sure, but i doubt it.
I just installed Doom III and updated it because with the update, i dont need the disc in the drive to play anymore.

So, i honestly dont know, since i havent tried it without Doom III being updated.

Somethings wrong then.

One i got was classic_doom3_version1.zip, it was 159mb.
I used the very first mirror to download, PCGame Mods Mirror.

Yeah, I installed it a while ago, and it's great! The music is classically redone, and makes everything better. And there is actually a coherant storyline now! With really cheesy-made cinematics. 😛

Now this is what I wanted when I bought Doom 3!!! Unfortunately I reverted back to my old Doom style...hugging every wall looking for secrets. I must have spent 2 hours on E1M3 looking for the damn drawbrige switch! Forgot about the timing needed on some of the secrets.
