I'm not finding anything definitive on Google.
A coworker of mine is saying in an interview Shelby only created (his company alone) two 427 Cobras because it was too much engine for the car. One he doesn't know where it is and the other got wrecked. As far as I know this is true of the twin supercharged ones, that he refuses to acknowledge (read: Shelby never made them). I seem to believe that 427 Cobra production figures were in the hundreds.
Can someone help clear this up?
