I have fallen victim to the infamous "Hey why isn't this stuff coming ou...CRAP!!!!!" arctic Silver problem. Managed to keep it on the processor, just not on the core lol.

is this gonna cause problems with the cpu?

just keep it away from a flame :-]

Alchohol, Laquer, Thinner, all should take off the AS. Just add a bit to a cloth or towel and start a'whipin away.

How major is the spill?

If it seems to be a microscopic film over the cpu then try using masking tape, just apply and pull off. Worked pretty well for me :)

The worst part with that stuff is once you get it on your hands, it gets all over everything else in a hurry. After one bad night, I had ASII on my hands, shirt, keyboard, case, hard disk, and the back of the slotket cover. Groan. Works good though. ;)

I would just leave it, it's not conductive. Don't worry about it.

I'd much rather leave it than put soapy water anywhere near my core.

Well it wasn't a spill at first, but then the tube became stubborn.. so i decided that it would be a good idea to pull the tube all the back, and then push it in. Yeah or i could have just shot myself in the face....

anyways, so ASII isn't conductive? I only got it on a few places on the processor and I think some in my hair, no big deal.

Uhm, if I'm not mistaken, according to their directions, aren't you supposed to squirt it onto the HS FIRST then use a knife/credit card/etc. and take a small dab of it and apply it to ur CPU? That would save you from the mistake of spilling it all over ur machine.
