already admitted to Ohio State University. 100% sure I am going to go there. 90% sure I am majoring in Political Science, 10% chance I might major in philosophy or something else. 100% sure I will be in Army ROTC (basically military science as a minor), and 100% sure I am currently admitted in Exploring/Undecided.

never even bothered to apply for 'nice' schools because I'd never be able to afford them and scholarships wouldn't come my way. my 3.5 and no extracurriculars and no community service = not much help from anyone other than me. I get approx. 2500 in scholarships this year from OSU (just got award status). Nice, but not much of a dent when OSU says the average student pays $21,000 between tuition, room and board, books, food, clothes, and other stuff. Hopefully Army ROTC can help. Air Force ROTC denied me scholarship. Didn't want to go AirForce much anyway though.
'sides, The Ohio State University has one of the top ranked Political Science departments in the country. My major that I was first looking at (well first after deciding computers were not for me past being a hobby) was Geology (meteorology specifically), also one of the top ranked departments are OSU. So, puts me at a better position over Carnegie and the likes too.
