"Class not Registered" error when installing B&W???

hey all,
i was wondering if anyone has come accross this error when trying to install B&W? it happens right after it is initializing the setup. it used to install in win2k, but im in win98 now and it wont even install. its not a warez version though i have a backup copy of the cd, i will try that next and see if the real cdrom if fubared.
any suggestions are appreciated.
