Class Action suit against Sony

Aves

Lifer
Apparently a class action lawsuit was filed against Sony yesterday for the whole David Manning, fake critic incident. I saw it on Good Day L.A. and later at CNN. People are claiming that the only reason that they went to see "A Knight's Tale" was because of the glowing David Manning review. Can you say BS? Who ever listens to movie critics?

Here's the story from CNN.

WTF? How much could the two bringing the class-action lawsuit possible think they deserve?

Do they want the price of admission back, and emotional damages?

From what I saw on Good Day L.A. they want the ticket price, the price of refreshments, gas, time, and of course, additional unspecified damages.

I'm with you Ameesh. We could always claim we never heard the story. Of course some lawyer would end up finding these posts and busting us.

Deep pockets = likely target. This is lame.

I want my ticket price back, plus $1 Million for the pain and suffering I'm going to experience for the rest of my life!

Sony was stupid, but c'mon.

Lawyers see an opportunity. Sony will settle because in the end it will be cheaper than fighting it.
