Claratin D 24 hour

I'm 34, and this is the first time I've had any kind of seasonal allergies. They got so bad I was screaming at my nose to stop itching. 😱

I used Benadryl last night so I could sleep, and no problem. Today I went to SavOn to get something that won't make me drowsy like Benadryl does.

Well, I'm definitely not drowsy, but I feel lightly dizzy and stoned. Caffeine helps counter the effect, but I'm kinda bugged by the dizziness.

Anybody else have this experience?

I've been taking the twelve hour ones off and on, took one today for the first time in a while and now I'm feeling a little spaced out...nothing too bad though. At least now I can breathe.

The 12 hour version is fine but I tried the extended release 24 hour version last week and felt totally groggy.

Claritin supposedly works really well, just not for me. The 24 hour stuff messes up my taste buds and makes me feel slightly light-headed and disconnected.

I don't like it.

I liked seldain bettar than claratin....

And no, it does not make me dizzy. I dyed my hair blond once. That made me feel dizzy. So I dyed it back to brown, and the dizziness went away!
