So, as has been publicized lately, there appears to be money available to a lot of people in various states held by the state controllers and the money just sits there earning them interest until (or unless) it's claimed.

I found I had $54 owed to me by the state of Kaaallleeeeeefooooorneeeeuuuuh!! :p Here's how it reads.....

Amount: $54.00

Type of Property: Commissions

Reported By: Blue Cross of California

WTF??

I'm getting commissions from Blue Cross now? Where's my car allowance? What about my per diem??

:D

Most states don't pay interest on unclaimed property.
