Yes, it's a bit better but I'm sure you'll hardly notice the difference.

The Column Access Strobe refers to the number of cycles it takes for the memory to return the data after the initial access request. The lower the rated latency, the better. PC2100 modules do not necessarily have to be CL2.5...CL2 modules are starting to hit the market.

Cas latency is independant of working frequency. You can have CAS2 at 100mhz or 133mhz.

The lower the CAS value the better. Another thing you should look for in DDR ram is a setting of 1T which adds even more performance over 2T.

Most good DDR Ram rated at CAS 2.5 will operate at CAS 2.0.

I read at a few places that there is no difference between 2.5 and 2.0 performancewise.

You will see a difference in performance in the benches. In real life you won't see a difference.
