So the most severe penalty for the accused police officers was... 4 years of paid leave?

And one of the primary defenses that got them off the hook was that the defendants didn't know there were undercover officers in the protest... as if police brutally beating random black people is otherwise fine. Which according to our current Supreme Court and multiple precedents, is in practice the current law in the US - police have, in practice, basically zero legal accountability for their actions.

I saw this yesterday, it's nuts. As long as the victim is black, white cops can do whatever they want. And they wonder why people drag on the police.
