Civilization 2 playing on Vista x64 Ultimate!

Last night I found the BEST THING EVER.

I have been sick of setting up 32-bit virtual machines to play the 16-bit Civ 2 Native Windows Version. I found the above executable which is 64-bit friendly, and viola! I have my favorite strategy game again!

Anyone else not been able to play their Civ 2 for years? I still have to fire up a VM to play Castle of the Winds 2 though. That's the pre-Diablo, Diablo game.
 
We need a thread covering the details on how to set up this vm mode and such. Going from xp 3e to vista 64 was the first time since losing the 5.25 that I had serious trouble getting games to work (all due to their having 8 or 16 bit portions in the install/.exe routine than causes a crash/hang in the 64 bit world).
