In honor of the forthcoming reunion tour, please confirm that I am correct. Civil War is teh best.

Proof:

Axl highs and lows? Check.
Multiple Slash riffs? Check.
Long but not overly indulgent? Sure.
Jeeebus seal of approval? Check.

I'm pretty sure every song from Appetite for Destruction has been my favorite at some point.

Two years ago I would have said Sweet Child O' Mine is an obvious choice given its cultural impact (more than any G&R song), but now that we know its a rip off...

Estranged.

Thirded. In fact, I think I'll listen to it now!

Civil War is a good GnR song though.

About the business of GnR supposedly reuniting though, I wonder whether they can come up with some good new material, or if part of the reasons why the band split up in the first place was because their creative union had run its course.

That version of November Rain with Elton John is more than a little weird IMO. I can barely spot anything different about the piano use in that version, and it's kind of odd how Elton has a mic but apparently never uses it.

It reminds me of those god-awful mash-ups that stations like MTV are often guilty of, like this:

On a separate note, the fact that the 'November Rain with Elton John' video features a freaking chalice for Axl to maybe drink from makes me wonder if this was yet another symptom of Axl Rose disappearing entirely up his own arse.

Check out my sig

But yes, for being written by Axl Rose the song is surprisingly powerful. And thus one of the best GNR songs. But nothing is better in my book than Rocket Queen.

i wanted to get out to Coachella but the 400 dollar per ticket price tag for the 3 day event turned me off. These concerts in Vegas I will try to buy tickets for this Sat.

I wish I went to one of the Dust N Bones tours. It was shortly after the Use Your Illusion tours. Basically it was their UYI songs without the horns, backup vocals, etc.
Civil War must have been awesome during one of those shows.
