WASHINGTON (AP) -- James Forman, a civil rights pioneer who helped inspire young people in the 1960s as a leader of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, has died of colon cancer, his son said Tuesday. Forman was 76.

Dude, I made jokes about my grandfather when he died and I loved the man. He had a great sense of humor, and would have laughed with me.

My understanding is that Forman was the same way. Like I said, he is probably having a ball if anyone is.
