Pretty miserable. Power failed at 8PM and did not come back until 4AM...
We have a backup generator so we still had lights and such, but not the most important thing: heat.
It was -2 Fahrenheit outside, so going that long without heat sucked. Fortunately the building retains heat fairly well, so it only dropped to 49 Fahrenheit.
I got to leave at midnight, so the guy coming in for the midnight shift really had to suffer.
It's quite something though. I saw at least 10 explosions in the distance. I suspect these were exploding transformers. Once I saw an explosion, then all of the lights from south of the tower to the northwest disappeared. Not a single light for half the horizon for hours after that.
