Civil Engineering...who does it and how do you like it?

I have been looking at taking some Civil Engineering courses and wanted to get soem feedback from people in the field. What do you do and how do you like it? Would you recommend it to others?

Uh.... hello... my name is William Hung, I'm a Civil Engineering student at Berkeley. Allow me to say this, Civil Engineering sucks ass.

The whole time I was a studying to be a Civil Engineer (and it was a lot of studying), no girls ever looked at me. I think there might be a few guys, but let me tell you, I think they wanted to take my scientific calculator. I thought wong and hard about studying, and as I contemplate my course of career, something struck me. I have a talent for singing, because music is my life, and music has nothing to do with Civil Engineering.

In the shower or around the Berkeley's lonely campus (it seems to me that I'm always walking by myself), I started singing and my voice seemed as if it's was angels singing. To make a long story short, I am now a singing sensational of America, I can't believe it, they love me, they really love me. So my suggestion to you, give up the Civil Engineering's major and follow me in my footsteps. She bangs baby.

i am all for it. there are certainly more chicks in civil engineering than most of the other types.

plus the potential to make many millions of dollars is higher than the other engineering types.

So wrong. Chem = Fem Engineering... Civil != girls.. Some, but not all.

plus if you mess up you have the potential to kill thousands!!!
